How does The CrunchCup work?
The CrunchCup has separate chambers for the cereal and the milk, each with its own hole in the lid. The cereal and milk don’t meet until they hit your mouth, so your cereal stays crunchy to the last bite.
How much cereal does it hold?
Just under 2 servings of cereal — roughly 1.6 cups (364ml). The outer chamber holds up to 10 oz of liquid, so you can set the milk to your own preference.
How do you control the flow of milk?
Two ways. Put a finger over the small breather hole on the lid, or partially cover the milk spout with your lower lip as you drink. Either one lets you get the cereal-to-milk ratio you like.
Is the lid leakproof?
The original CrunchCup (v1) has an open top, so it can spill if it tips over. The CrunchCup XL v2 comes with the CrunchCover lid, which closes the cereal opening with a flip-top seal and the milk spout with a silicone stopper for travel. Already have a v1? You can add a CrunchCover to it.
Is The CrunchCup dishwasher safe?
Yes. We recommend the top rack of your dishwasher. The cup is also shatter resistant and has been tested by two separate third-party labs for safety.
What is it made out of?
A durable, high-grade, BPA-free plastic. It looks like glass, is dent-proof and shatter resistant, and is approved by the FDA and LFGB institutions for food safety.
Are there cereals it doesn’t work with?
We’ve done extensive testing, and the two we don’t recommend are Frosted Mini Wheats and Weetabix. Just about everything else works.
